I am in the process of making cookies, and am bored, bored, bored with red and green sprinkles. Anyone know of anyplace I can find more of a variety? Thanks.

Might not be quite what you are looking for but I have always been able to find colourful sugars, jimmies, and other decorations at Sur la Table and Williams Sonoma. You might always want to try frosting some cookies if you get bored with the whole sugar/jimmies thing. And there is always colouring sugar yourself.

Depending if you're looking north or south of the city, Cakes Plus in Laurel has a ton of stuff.

Yes, this is the place. Tons of great cake decorating supplies, and great cupcakes, mind you.

I second the mention of Cake (and Wedding) Cottage on Belair Road. Just went there myself to get a half sheet pan and large cookie sheet. It's also the place where I buy coarse sugar in several different colors for use with Christmas cookies.

If you don't like what you find locally, check out The Baker's Catalogue (King Arthur Flour) online, they always have a huge variety of sprinkles and shapes for cookie and cupcake baking.
