Christmas Brunch in the Triangle

Every year for the past 3 years our family has gone to a Christmas brunch at either the Carolina Inn or the Washington Duke Inn. We are looking for a different experience. Does anyone know of a good Xmas brunch? Not looking for extravagance...but will take it if there is nothing else.

Is Fearrington House open for Christmas? That's sort of the same idea, I suppose. The restaurant critic for the News and Observer has some listings on his blog:

Oooo looks like Il Palio is open!

Acme has very good food; you could try there. I'm going to the Carolina Inn;-)

If Raleigh is an option, doesn't Irregardless do a Christmas lunch or dinner? They are always great, although not as fancy as WD or CI. Check out their website.
