Hot Chocolate help in Baltimore

jjjules Dec 14, 2006 09:17 PM

This is my first winter back in the states in several years - and more importantly, my first winter living in Baltimore. As the weather has been getting chillier, I have begun to crave hot chocolate. I'm talking rich, chocolatey, whipped cream on top... anyone know of any fun little spots in B-more that I could go for a great cup of hot cocoa?

The best hot chocolate in town is at Sylvan Beach on W. Preston Street. No mixes, but steamed milk and the hot fudge they use on their sundae's. Unbelievable.

The hot chocolate at Donna's is always rich and comforting, though sometimes not hot enough for me.

My wife and I actually really love the Hot Chocolate at Vaccaros in Little Italy.

Spoons in Federal Hill offers an intense hot chocolate - so thick you almost have to chew it. You can have mint hot cocoa as well.

My fave is the Hot Chocolate mix from Williams Sonoma- its a bit pricey, but soooo worth it. You make it at home w/ hot milk and the mix isn't powder- its little bits of chocolate and its so yummy!
