I've been checking out this franchise lately. There's one in Downtown L.A. on Broadway between 3rd and 4th. The crunchy tacos are quite good and 2 for $1. Anyone else tried this place.

Ah, Taco Time. I grew up in Eugene (where they started) so there were a fair number of them around. I even worked at one for about 6 weeks when I was in high school. Was totally addicted to the crisp meat burritos. So bad for you, but oh so delicious. I always found their stuff to be a substantial step up from Taco Bell fare.

Man, now I want a freaking soft taco and some mexi-fries.

      I like their Mexi-Fries.

Taco Time prides itself in serving food well above most fast food standards. The tacos and mexi-fries are excellent as is their white chicken chili. Definitely a step up from Taco Bell (and safer too).

Taco Time is the greatest gringo mexican fast food of all time. It's a must-have from time to time, and my wife could not be more excited that it finally followed us to L.A. Crispy tacos two for a buck is a great deal. They cost more at other locations. I have to get downtown soon.

          Soft Taco
          Crisp Meat Burrito
          Mexi Fries
          Original Hot Sauce
