the best FOIE GRAS dish in NY

For the holidays my husband and I are hoping to treat each other to the best foie gras dish that NY has to offer. Any suggestions?

  1. You can't go wrong with any of the foie gras preparations at Aureole or Bouley. They are always wonderful!

    1. It depends on whether you want a terrine or poele. At Eleven Madison Park, Chef Daniel Humm's foie gras terrine is sensational, and the foie gras creme brulee that accompanies it is mind-blowingly delicious. When it comes to seared foie gras, Veritas' Chef Scott Bryan's preparations are always superb.

      1. The foir gras brulee at Jean Georges (and has been served at Jo Jos) is almost sinfully good.

        1. Gramercy Tavern! Mmmmm I would have that at my last meal. I've heard the bar at Joel Robuchon at the Four Seasons has a snack called foie gras pop tarts, let me know if you try them!
