Does anyone have experience with ordering from these folks? Their prices are about half of what you'd find anywhere else online. Is this place the real deal? Specifically I'm looking at their cheese section and most of them are priced at half of what I'd pay at a Dean and Deluca or online at Artisanal's shop.

They are fantastic! The actual store is located here in Pittsburgh's Strip District and is famous for its cheese counter and vast array of Italian products. Obviously I have never had reason to order from their online store but I can vouch for their quality.

PenMac is the best! It was on my "MUST VISIT" list whenever I traveled to PGH to visit my son (lives with his mother, we are dovorced). My son & I loved going to the strip and getting a block of sharp white cheddar and a loaf of fresh bread then nosh on that all afternoon.

Have not bought online but will do it today!

Agreed. They're great. I've only ordered online; I buy all my pizza making ingredients from them. Grande mozzarella, 6 in 1 tomatoes, and Ezzo Pepperoni. All outstanding products that aren't available in Manhattan. The perishables come packed in a well-sealed styrofoam box with frozen gel packs and have always arrived in excellent condition.
