I want to get a gift card for dining out in Paso Robles. What you you recommend for about $100 for 2. I appreciate any answers. Thanks

I have heard good things about Villa Creek. Haven't been there but they make great wine!

I haven't been there in a couple of years, but I've always enjoyed Bistro Laurent which is downtown by the park. Good, french inspired menu with an excellent wine list.

I would agree that Bistro Laurent is the most respected and consistantly good restaurant in Paso Robles. $ 100 should cover a wonderful dinner for two with wines. IMHO

Villa Creek and Bisrto Laurent are both good choices. They are the two most established restaurants in town, very popular with locals and visitors alike. There is a new restaurant in town called Artisan. I have not been there yet, but I have spoken with numerous people who have...and they are all raving about it! They say the asian fusian cuisine it tasty, the wine list plentiful, and the service is great.

I have been to Artisan. It was very good. They have excellent espresso (beans are roated in Atascadero). For consistently good food though, my vote goes to Bistro Laurent over Villa Creek.
