Lunch on 58th St. or Nearby

Hi, a business partner wants to meet me for lunch "near Central Park, maybe on 58th st." Any suggestions for a nice lunch spot? I have no idea as to tastes/preferences so something middle-of-the-road would be good.

I second Bouchon Bakery. If you can do the sit-down area (it gets pretty crowded) the lunch is not that expensive and really creative flavors. Their grilled cheese is also to die for there.

Bottega del Vino - 59th off Fifth or Madison is quite good - panini in the front, full restaurant in the back.

Jean Georges pre fixe is great...Columbus Circle.

For a more casual lunch maybe Bouchon Bakery in Time Warner.

I have only been for dinner, but Brasserie 8 1/2 is a nice spot that fits the location requested - it is on 57th St.
