Suggestion for Williamsburg, Tonight?

Hey all - my boyfriend and I are looking for somewhere great to try for dinner - we're never in Williamsburg so I know nothing about the neighborhood or their specialties - was hoping you might have some good ideas. We're looking to spend under $100. We love all types of food, but our favorite is Indian. Also would be into great Mexican.

  1. I'm not sure W'burg even has Indian, but Bonita on Bedford between South 2nd and 3rd has pretty good Mexican. The guac in particular is delicious, and in general it's a pretty fun place to go. Another great place is Diner (owned by the same people as Bonita) on Broadway at Berry. At both places, you will definitely spend under $100.

    1. There is one Indian place on North 5th between Bedford and Berry, but I'm not sure if it's any good.

Diner and Bonita are great suggestions. Also, if you decide not to go with Mexican, Relish is always good, and Sweetwater is tasty as well.

      1. The best spot i have been to in Wburg is Dumont, 432 Union Ave. Under $100 if you go easy on the wine. Way under if you get one of their delicious burgers and beers. A scallop special we had was fabulous and they have a great crispy skate dish (not an easy fish to do well).
