Dessert- Would raspberries marinated in balsamic vinegar work with chocolate fudge brownie?

Am planning dinner for new friends. Wasn't sure if the vinegar would detract from the chocolate. What do you think?

  1. I make a raspberry coulis using balsamic vinegar. Just don't use a lot. Sprinkle the raspberries with sugar and drizzle with balsamic. Let mascerate for a while. Smash up and run through a sieve to remove seeds. Taste....adjust balsamic and sugar to taste.

    For fun, add a bit of habanero powder to your rasperries. Sweet with a little bit of a kick. Works great with chocolate.

    1. For me, adding balsamic over gilds the lily. Vinegar and chocolate strikes me as weird.
