Seeing a play at the Timeline Theater on Friday...it's basically at Halsted and Wellington (just a bit east of Halsted actually). Looking for a recommendation in any price range, but must have excellent tasting food. A good wine list wouldn't be bad either. Open to all cuisines. Any thoughts?

Jack's at Halsted and Belmont is great Contemporary American cuisine. I LOVE their appetizers - usually my friends and I just share several appetizers and a salad or two. I can't vouch for the wine list, but they have very good mixed drinks. It's also not terribly expensive.
