  1. Ichiro is pretty decent sushi - 2nd around 87th. I like Chef Ho and they offer a 1/2 peking duck - 2nd Ave. around 90th.

    1. try seamlessweb.com. we live at 96 & lex and we find its the best for many options without having to deal with a lot of fuss.

      1. 101 & Lex, Itzocan Bistro. Had dinner there based on recs on this board and loved it. Reasonable prices, really delicious food, great menu and our server was very helpful with ordering recs. At our request, steered us to better app choices and we were delighted with what we ended up with.

Also try Salata on Madison between 96th & 97th, I think. They have 2 store fronts on the same block, separated by a few other businesses. The northern-most has good deli sandwiches etc while the other (my favorite) has very nice salads, fresh and tasty. I've seen sushi being made but haven't have any.
You serve yourself from a very clean and inviting salad line and can take away or look for an empty table in the tiny space in back. I have had the curried chicken salad, lentil salads, dolmadas, really good fresh fruit and others I can't recall now. Good, quick, fresh, and decent prices.
Not sure if they deliver and it's not exactly around the corner from you but if you're nearby it's really worth a visit.

        1. Milano, which I believe is right across the street from you on 3rd Ave has decent italian sandwiches. A few other places have recently opened on 3rd on the west side of the street, haven't tried them yet. Also, may not be what you're looking for, but Ecco La seems to finally re-opened (3rd and 93) after an almost 2 year renovation.

          1. I lived on 95th / 3rd (Normandie Court) for years and always liked for delivery:

            Sala Thai
            Taco Taco
            Midnight Express (diner food)

            1. Yura & Co (92nd & Third) has fantastic sandwiches and stuff to bring home and eat, not sure if they deliver. Jacques Bistro (85th b/t Second & Third) is tasty. Burger Heaven (86th & Third) has excellent diner options, and good salads. Dumpling King on First Ave & 82nd is good Chinese delivery in the area, so is Our Place and Pig Heaven. Not sure if Haru on 76th & Third delivers that high up, but that's some of my favorite sushi. I myself haven't had any good Mexican in that area, sorry. Arriba Arriba is OK, best of the blah bunch, Blockheads is gross, Burritoville is good-ish. Vespa is good Italian (Second Ave b/t 84th & 85th). Not delivery, but Paola's is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in NYC, it's on 84th just off of Second. Lovely, romantic restaurant with a neighborhood-y feel, great Valentine's Day spot, but reserve months in advance.

Actually, xena is right, you're on the cusp of that East Harlem neighborhood that has a lot of excellent, authentic Mexican food. My friends live below 86th and outside the delivery catchment. Try above 96th and you should be set.

              1. You're really close to the east side branch of Saigon Grill which should be a great choice for tasty and inexpensive Vietnamese food. Get the soup with chicken dumplings, I'm addicted to that soup!

I think that location is still closed - thread on that last week.

I thought it was only closed for renovations.
That sucks. I would guess the west side location won't deliver to the east side, or wouldn't they?

                    1. re: maria_nyc

I still hold to the belief that it is just closed for renovations, not withstanding other opinions.
