Arrowood "Saralee's Vyd" Syrah 1999

Does anyone have any recent tasting notes on this wine? Is it past its prime or coming into its own

    Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/Jun 02
Bright full ruby-red. Black fruits, cracked pepper, roasted meat, spices and jasmine on the nose. Juicy, minerally and youthfully tart-edged; tougher and more angular than the Sonoma Valley bottling, and currently dominated by its strong tannic structure. Not nearly as silky or sweet as it appeared a year ago from barrel; perhaps it has not yet recovered from the bottling. 87(+?) points

The 1999 Syrah Saralee's Vineyard has been co-fermented with 5% Viognier. Its explosive aromatic profile offers up scents of smoke, charcoal, cassis liqueur, and honeysuckle. The wine is deep and plump with low acidity and abundant tannin in the firmly structured finish. This serious Syrah will be even better with another 1-2 years of cellaring. It will age nicely for 10-12 years.
