Recently we discovered the most amazing Pizza in Downey.
We ordered the PASTRAMI Pizza and WOW! The taste is amazing, it like eating a Pastrami Sandwich(Mustard,Pickles) on a Pizza.

I wonder if these (fill in the city's name) Pizza Co, are related. I know of a East LA Pizza Co, La Verne Pizza Co, Monrovia Pizza Co and Hacienda Heights Pizza Co.

I have eaten at Hacienda Heights Pizza Co and they also have the pastrami pizza on their menu, though I have never had it.

"Correction on the address.. i believe its 9026 Florence Ave. Downey, CA"

The probably relocated in the last 4 years since that original post was put up.

Pepperoni's in the OC has the same, and it is GOOD!! Their chorizo pizza is heart burn on a crust, but definitely worth it!

The location I know of is in Anaheim, off State College; but I believe they have three or four additional locations.

This is probably the only thing noteworthy at this place. And, agree, it is quite good - in a very quirky way.

Everything else is Chef Boyardee-ish, if not worse. Pasta is cooked just right if you have no teeth ... and the lasagna is like something straight from the freezer, with a pitstop at the microwave, and then to your table.

Friendly servers, if not a bit prone to flirting ...

it sounds like it's close to Arthur's for some of that great Arthur's OJ.

Yeah, I think Arthur's is just up the street on Lakewood.

Re dessert ... I think they usu. have a selection of generic stuff like tiramisu, chocolate cake, cheesecake, etc.
