Brunch in NJ

Hi, Does anybody have suggestions for brunch in Monmouth or Ocean county? It's a great way to entertain for birthdays, etc. Brunch is one of my favorite meals! My other favorites are lunch & dinner!

    Their food is ok. They have had a change in ownerships. I've had no problem with the servers, etc. They serve lox, bagels, fruit, dessert, omelet station, eggs, home fries, pasta, etc. It's a buffet style brunch.
    For your information, there is also another brunch place in Farmingdale called Our House.

    I personally like Olde Silver Tavern better. Our House is no big deal.

      I am familiar with Our House. We used to go there occasionally for dinner. However, that was many years ago, when our palates were less discerning. Now, I'm sure we would not find the food appealing.

      Old Silver Tavern in Manalapan has brunch on Sundays too.

        They advertise regularly in the various advertising booklets that populate our mailbox. I've never been because I've always suspected that the food is nothing special. Am I wrong? (Note: I think they recently had an ownership change?)

          Hey Anna,

          Please let us know what you thought about the Brunch joints you check out. While you're at it you might also want to check out Klein's in Belmar. It's a beautiful outdoor brunch spot (by the water) in the summer.

          If you enjoy seafood, the brunch at Salt Creek Grill offers a variety of fresh seafood along with fresh baked goods, salads, meats and desserts. $25/pp..res recommended...before 11am fresh selections are plentiful.

            The Molly Pitcher Inn, in Red Bank, is reputed to have an excellent brunch.

              I like the Turning Point in Holmdel. They also have locations in Little Silver and Manalapan.

                I haven't been there for brunch, but, have been told that the brunch at The Mill in Spring Lake is very good.

                  Old Mill Inn does have a very nice Sunday brunch, with carving stations that actually have cuts you wouldn't mind paying for. Their prime rib alone is worth the entry.

                  Another excellent brunch spot is Klein's...in Belmar. http://www.kleinsfish.com/
