Marie Sharp's Habanero Hot Sauce in Boston?

rlh Dec 9, 2006 02:41 PM

Got totally hooked on Marie Sharp's Habanero Hot Sauce while visiting Belize (it originates there -- it's not as hot as you'd expect -- the peppers are tempered with carrot and it tastes GREAT..) a few years ago -- I was able to restock from a stand in the French Market in New Orleans with a large bottle -- that bottle is almost empty and I don't expect a trip to either place any time soon -- is anyone aware of a place inside 128 that stocks this product (there are several varieties) -- I know I can mail or web order it, but would prefer to find a local source -- and I'm curious where the best hot sauce selections are in the area anyway. Thanks!

You can certainly buy almost any hot sauce on line. Here is a link to your Marie Sharp on Amazon.

I never go to Quincy Market unless we have an out-of-town visitor who insists but once upon a time there was a hot sauce shop in the Marketplace.

I bought a 12-pack box of different sauces from Marie Sharp's after a trip to Belize last year: got it online. Check out http://www.drchilepepper.com/
