<content>I could bake some loaf breads in the morning (a few hours from now) for this bake sale. I wonder if it's worth it, as we only eat them fresh the day they're baked, or within 24 hours.

I have a recipe I've been meaning to use from a friend - with rosemary. And just plain old honey wheat? We have candies, cookies, and I'll make the banana bread. I can't see a bake sale without breads.

Help me make up my mind? I do have that Italian Cheese Bread Ring made in a bundt pan which holds very well. But people don't tend to buy the larger items I've heard. I guess I could slice it in two. I tried recently to make it as a 9x5 loaf but it didn't give the same effect of that nice pocket of cheese in the middle of the bundt. I also made some mini muffins with this recipe at Thanksgiving, but that was labor intensive to stuff each little muffin, I don't have time.

How about a Foccacia (sp?)? Anyone got a sure winner that I can afford the time to bake?

My husband thinks I've baked enough! For the sale, that is. I have to leave in 13 hours. (Going to get some sleep now.)

<content>Sorry that this response is so late, but maybe you can use the suggestion in the future. I'm usually at my computer very early in the morning.

I have seen half loaves of bundt pan cakes on sale in supermarkets. Next time you could bake the Italian Cheese Bread Ring and cut it in half, wrap it and put it with the rest of the baked goods on sale.
