Flexible aperitif - good with alcohol and without?

At Christmas dinner, I have a mix of guests who imbibe and a few who don't. I like to offer a festive, seasonal aperitif with the nibbles before dinner, but keep it to one drink (it's not a big crowd), with a non-alcohol option. Last year, it was pomegranate juice and orange flower water, topped with prosecco, or sparkling water for the non-drinkers.

I'm looking for other suggestions along these lines - something delicious that will also be really good with a non-alcolholic mixer.
