I've been there several times. The concept at Oceanaire is Ultra-Fresh fish and huge portions. I was not too impressed with the specials I tried, but I enjoyed the Crab Cakes and loved the New England Clam Chowder. The bartenders and management staff really take care of you.
I did a full write-up on my blog, with pics: http://philafoodie.blogspot.com/2006/...

A seafood theme park (chain)! Seafood is flown in from millions of miles away which goes against my food philosophy. Personally, a place this size, portions this size and over the top service doesn't turn me on at all, even if it tastes good!!!

I went this past Sunday night and thought it was very good. There were 20 fresh fish on the menu. Service was attentive and the food was fresh and tasty. It is not cheap, but my $10 salad could have fed three people and there were lots of freebies: cruditie plate with olives, radish, carrots and herring, large half loaf of good bread, generous wine pours. I had an appetizer and salad, took half of the salad with me and left too full for desert. With two glasses of wine and tip it was ~$50. Some colleagues went the night before and spent $90 each (with one drink and one glass of wine each).
