I need some ibarra (mexican choclate) for a holiday cake recipe. Anyone know where I can find some? Thanks
Met Food on Smith St. carries it, in the Goya section (hah!)
ASSOCIATED on 5th Avenue close to Union Street has got it...and I spotted it last Sunday. It's one of those "got whatcha need, not necessarily whatcha want" places.
El Faro market on 5th Ave at 17th carries it. Id bet the 5th Ave Key does too, or the "Compare" market down toward 7th St.Much prefer the Ibarra to the fancy stuff.
ps - what are you making with it?
I am making a mexican chocolate flourless torte. Thanks
