Where can I find candied lemon peel in LA?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could find some nice candied lemon peel for a cookie recipe? I live in Silver Lake.....Surfas probably has some, but does anyone know of anyplace closer?

    1. Try the Ultimate Nut Co. at the Farmers Market. They had it a bit ago.

        1. Nicole's Gourmet Imports in South Pasadena has a great selection of candied peel (orange and lemon) and other candied fruit (citron, cherries, etc.) that would be perfect for holiday baking -- it's the high quality stuff, not the plastic tasteless stuff you get at the supermarket.
