Nicaragua Recommendations

Hello. We are headed to Nicaragua after the holidays (Managua, Granada, Ometepe, and San Juan del Sur). It is our first trip there. Any recommendations on food places not to miss? Thanks!

Don Chaco's in Matagalpa-Ask for la bomba... it's a green smoothie, delicious. La hora del taco is also good for a nice Mexican place.

el zaguan (behind the cathedral)in granada, highly recommneded, beautiful patio setup, traditional seafood dishes. just ask a local or a kid will take you there. i'm not sure if it's el zaguan or el zarguan but you can't miss it.
