Where to find them in Toronto?

    I got mine at Williams-Sonoma, but that was part of a wedding registry. I'm sure you can find them for cheaper elsewhere. My 8" Santoku is a thing of beauty.

          If anyone knows of a cheaper spot than W-S I'm all ears - I'll be buying a smaller Shun for close work soon. My Shun santoku is the best knife I've ever owned.

          Online is a good option for sure, although once shipping is factored in it's often not much of a saving and you don't get to heft the knife first.

            House of Knives used to have a store at the Eaton Centre. They sold Shun knives. That location is closed now but they apparently still have a Mississauga store. You might check with them -- as I recall the 10 inch chef's knife was about $210. I don't know how that compares to W-S.
