Barcelona this Friday - HELP!!

I am looking for some great, not too fancy/expensive food...how is the Bocqueria? Anything in particular there??? I am not too sure what it is, I am imagining somethign like Borough Market in London. Any recommendation for non-seafood? I am staying by Sants Station, is there anything there, is it close to the touristy stuff. Please help.

Friday is a major national holiday in Spain--I would imagine that the stalls in the Boquería will all be closed--not sure about the cafes and tapas spots.
