Fried Ice Cream in Austin

I'm looking for a place that serves fried ice cream in Austin (North Austin is preferred), do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

    Aren't there any non-Japanese joints that serve fried ice cream? I think I had it once at Texas Land & Cattle.

      some tex-mex places have fried ice cream. i don't know of any north though. el arroyo has some great fried ice cream if you find yourself central.

        Yup, El Arroyo (5-10min from downtown) has some great fried ice cream.

      Sushi Niichi near the UT campus has an amazing fried ice cream dessert with tempura bananas. It's so good, and probably cheaper than Mikado or Musashino. Get the green tea ice cream.

        musashino has killer tempura ice cream, better than mikado, but also more expensive.
