Best Root Beer Float

I know it's getting cold, but when you crave something you might as well do it right. What place serves up the BEST root beer float?

    Mel's Diner, Sherman Oaks. Really good!

      A&W Root Beer hands down.

      limited number of locations in the greater Southern California area.

        Not sure it is the best or not, but the Oinkster in Eagle Rock has a float with Boylan's Root Beer -- they may also use Fosselman's ice cream? Maybe someone else can remember that part ...

            Where are you located?

            Disneyland's Main Street Ice Cream Parlor serves a good one. :)
