Been comparing the specs on the Chef's Choice #610, ($99) compared to the Waring Pro for about the same price. I'm leaning toward the Chef's Choice.

Chef's Choice: I like the versatility of 2 blades: It ships with the serrated "multipurpose" blade, but you can also buy ($25) the smooth "Ham slicing blade", which could be easily re-sharpened. Also has tilted carriage. The drawback is the 100 watt motor (vs 130 watt on Waring).

Input is appreciated, especially on motor strain, cleanup, varied uses of the 2 blades, and the ability to get micro-paper-thin slices. I'm ready to pull the trigger.
