<content>I know it's last minute, but

Is anyone interested in meeting up at Mai Village (on University Avenue in St. Paul) for dim sum this coming Saturday morning?

Here's a link to the last dim sum chowdown we had (at Jun Bo):

I thought it would be fun to compare Jun Bo dim sum to Mai Village for those who attended the last one. However: you are welcome at this chowdown even if you did not attend the last one. The only real requirements for attendance are willingness to share food and keep an open mind and to be a poster--or the guest of a poster-- on chowhound.

If you are interested in attending, please send me an e-mail at the address noted in my profile by the end of the day Wednesday, December 7, 2006 so I can get a headcount in order to make reservations. PLEASE DO NOT POST ABOUT THE CHOWDOWN IN THIS THREAD, although, if you want to post about Mai Village's dim sum, that's okay.

Dim sum will be served "family style" so, we'll just be splitting the bill, including tip and tax, evenly by the number of attendees. We'll order tea for the table to share, but you are responsible for your own drinks if you want anything in addition to tea.

We spent about $14.00 per person at Jun Bo, so, you can anticipate spending about that. Please bring cash.

In spite of the last minute notice, I hope we can assemble at least a few chowhounds. If you can't attend this chowdown, no worries, we'll catch you on the next one--go ahead and e-mail me about your interest in future chowdowns now and I'll be sure to keep you posted.

Thank you!
