Casual italian place - downtown to midtown

something casual with a normal italian menu, nothing fancy. anywhere from soho to midtown.

      otto. one of mario's places. its pizza, pasta and salad. plus dessert. everything is pretty basic!!

        Bianca! Great lasagne. Nice place. Not too expensive.

          Do yourself a favor and hit Johns on 12th street between 2nd and 1st (East Village). It is amazing, not fancy at all, and you will leave full. Order the Avacado Bruchetta (not on the menu), truly amazing!

            Do you know if Johns uses handmade pasta? I have wanted to try them for some time and that would be a clincher.

              I don't know Bobby, if I had to guess, I'd say that everything they use is fresh and handmade. It's great for groups.
