Lunch At the Hind's Head in Bray (Short report)

We were in Windsor last Wednesday and thought why not drive over to Bray and take a look at Heston Blumenthal country. Our lunch pick was his Hind's Head pub next door to The Fat Duck. My husband isn't much of a lunch eater, so we chose from the bar menu and had the place to ourselves as all the other diners seemed to be in the adjoining room.

We had the best pea and ham soup of my life... a huge bowl with a bright, green color (cream enriched) plus hunks of delicious ham and beautiful peas one could see. I also had a wonderful iceberg salad - plain but I like it that way.

We will definitely go back for the famous chips and to try some of the other choices. The menu is not huge but very adequate. The puddings have great names and probably are worth a try.
