Just got back home from a jampacked mitsuwa market in West LA with some juicy info regarding Santouka Ramen.

It's official! December 13th is the opening date. Similar to the Torrance lauch, there will be free ramen tickets given out to the first 100 customers.
On a side note, the market itself has been completely remodeled and as a part of the celebration EVERYTHING in the store is 20% off today! Sadly beer and sake are off limits lol.

Matsuya is better than Yoshinoya. If they opened one in LA, that would be great.

Ack! Looks like I picked the wrong day to shop at Nijiya instead.
Aside from the food court, does the rest of the market look completely remodeled? I last went on Black Friday, and the refrigerated section was a bit lacking, especially when it came to beverages.
