Any loungy Japanese places in Tampa?

I will be coming to Tampa with my girlfriend for new years eve...I am looking for some type of place that i can reserve to have dinner/drinks, ets for the night...Was hoping to find a cool japanese place to go?

If not, any other trendy places to go?

Joto's on S. Dale Mabry is heavy on atmosphere with its individual enclosed rice paper rooms with low tables and floor cushions. very intimate. but I don't think they take reservations so you might have to wait for one to open up. Their sushi used to be great but i think it's just good now but good enough.

Restaurant BT in Hyde Park (Vietnamese tho not Japanese) rates very high on the cool factor.

Loungy places with the girlfriend, i would check out Ceviche, St Barts Island Grill, Seven 17, or Managroves all in SOHO.

Cafe Japon in International Plaza might fit the bill for Japanese cuisine. It's not a very large space- you might want to do the 'drinks' thing at Bamboo club, Bar Louie, or Blue Martini which are next to it.
