Need a little advice here..Can i freeze chowder and if so what are your recomendations for freezing?
i freeze it all the time and it does fine. it may separate when you defrost, but you'll be stirring it when you reheat so no prob.
personally, i line a container w/saran, pour in the chowder, or anyth else, freeze, pop out the saran from the container, put in a plastic bag and label. i freeze soups, stews etc in lg quantities- in 2- portion sizes .
