maui where anymore?

I often go to Maui but haven't found a place I love since the pacific grill in Kihea closed; they were outstanding with fish. Mama's is ok, been to the Hailemaile general store (pretty good), Spago (excellent), and many others but hoping someone knows of something I may have missed, especially in the outstanding seafood category.

also a place for omakase, preferably in the kihei/wailuku/kula/kahalui side of things.

Saigon Cafe in Wailuku... amazing!

Plantation House is my favorite Maui restaurant. It is in the clubhouse of the Plantation golf course in Kapalua. Another great place in Kapalua is the new Pineapple Grill in the clubhouse of the Bay course.

Roy's in Kihei and Lahaina also does a good job with tasty fish preparations, but it tends to be noisy.

Try Maalea Waterfront - it's been years since I've been there, but remember it being excellent. Hard to find - you kindof go through an apartment building to get to it, but right on the water, as so ask for one of those tables.

been there, thx. nice view but not really comparable to Pacific Grill Cafe...
