Lobster Sashimi

Hi. I'm looking for a restaurant with great Lobster Sashimi with romantic atmosphere with reservation capabilities. I'm not familiar with NYC, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    they have lobster sashimi at Bond St. --amazing sushi/sashimi/rolls--very romantic atmosphere and you can make reservations on opentable.com

        I was going to recommend Bond Street too.

      I believe it's always available at Blue Ribbon Sushi.

        Yes, but I hear Blue Ribbon doesn't take reservation. It's for his birthday, and I didn't want to make him stand in line...

        it's not romantic in the traditional sense, but Ushi Wakamaru has lobster sashimi -- i watched the chef Hideo-san take apart a live one w/ his bare hands the other night...the vibe is sort of mellow there, sometimes mostly Japanese customers, traditional sushi, a simple room...but the sushi is fantastic, and i've had many a romantic evening that started there, followed up dessert&drinks at somewhere more cozy like Angel's Share or Raoul's...

          UshiWakamaru does sound very nice. Do they usually have lobster or was that the special? I didn't see it on their regular menu.

            Not sure, but they have a big tank there, so i imagine it's regularly available...you could call and ask...212-228-4181...

              There's usually lobster in the tank, but it's not a guarantee. I typically give the chef free reign to serve whatever he would like and, on a few occasions, he's ripped apart a lobster for me (for a single piece of nigiri -- I'm not sure who gets the rest). I've certainly seen the tank empty, though.
