Entertaining eats for three young guys?

We have three young men in their early 20's from out of state coming to visit in December. One of them does a little cooking, but more than the food my biggest concern is that they find the restaurant entertaining enough (people watching, atmosphere, etc.) to enjoy a couple of meals out in the company of their "old" aunt and uncle. Can be lunch or dinner; we live in Studio City but Westside would be fine too.

www.lunaparkla.com - lots of people, young crowd. I love the goat cheese fondue. Entrees are all very filling, and desserts are not to be missed.

Firefly restaurant on Ventura near Colfax would fit your need quite well, but do have reservations for dinner. They get very busy. 818.762.1833

Casa Vega is a great Mexican place near you with good drinks and a fun crowd. Also, a lot of celebs go there, which is always fun for out of town guests.
