Watergrill on sat

I'm going to Watergrill tommorow night and am quite excited as I have heard many excellent things about it. I was wondering if anyone had any recs for particular dishes? Thanks.

  1. Last time I went (sadly 2 yrs ago), I had the tasting menu and it was exceptional. I would highly recommend whatever comes as part of that. Awesome wine selection as well. Have a great time.

      1. I've done the tasting menu a few times, also ordered off the menu a few times -- either way you pretty much can't go wrong.

        The tasting menu is really fun and totally worth the time and bucks; the regular menu has some great stuff too. I love starting off with a champagne cocktail, then deciding tasting or regular menu. The last time I had the tasting menu was in early October, and one of the courses was the best butternut squash puree I've ever had, over lobster ravioli. It was one of the most lovely, perfect dishes I've ever had, and I would've missed it had I ordered off the menu. However... I also dig going there and getting raw oysters, the chowder, maybe a crabcake, and an entree. If they have the passionfruit glace/pudding thingy for dessert, get it. And port.

        I think I just talked myself into seeing if I can get a reservation for tomorrow night...
