Had a very good Mac and Cheese at Midtown ( formerly Summit house Grill ) at Eg and Yonge. Nice renovation of space and interesting menu.

It's mostly a modern take on old classics. Sort of anti-trendy. Pot roast, liver and onions, chicken pot pie etc, all done in a modern . fashion. Good price point and excellent service.

Yeah, when I walked by and checked out the menu, it jumped out as comfort food--shepherd's pie, french onion soup as well as the home cookin' that you mentioned, ishmael. Can't wait to try it.

I second that. Trevor's mac and cheese is fantastic.
