Burger Shack?

Hey guys just wanted some recent opinions on Burger Shack on Eglinton near Avenue road, was planning on trying it this weekend wondered if anyone had any suggestions.

Burger Shack is above average in the world of greasy spoon/burger joints. The fact that they have homemade burgers on the menu is a plus. A much better burger(different ambience though) is Rails and Ales on the danforth.

I just don't get it! I live about a kilometre from Burger Shack, and tried it shortly after we moved in about 10 years ago. Not impressed. Kept hearing great things about it over the years and tried it again about 3 years ago. What's the big deal? It's an over-cooked bland burger - nothing at all interesting about it. I much prefer the burgers at Golden Star, at Yonge and Steeles.

I have been eating at the shack for over 25 years-in my opinion, the best greasy spoon/burger joint burger in the city. I went with my dad now I take my kids!! Enjoy!!
