  1. Eeeeew. Yes, by all means go to B.C. if you want a side order of nasty.

Pie N Burger for great burgers -- I imagine you can get a beer there if you really want.

If the beer and atmosphere is more important than the burger, then try Crown City Brewery or Lucky Baldwins or Yardhouse.

    1. I love the burger at Gordon Biersch in Burbank... I think there's one in Old Town too... and obviously they have beer.

Double on the Biersch burger. It is tops.

      2. The burger at Houstons on Arroyo is good too.

My top recommendation is the smokehouse burger at Smitty's. I think they have upgraded their beer on tape to something better than Budweiser, finally. Also, I second the rec for the burger at Houston's. The one at the Yard House is decent too, and obviously the beer selection is fantastic.

        2. Jeffro - glad to hear youre eating red meat again. Knowing your flair for kiddie menus DEFINITELY check out Crocodile cafe - a really charming place, decor wise and plenty of beer to shut out the constant whimperings of little jeffrina. Islands is not as good but they have a Hawaiian burger(i know how much you love Ham and pineapple!) Please report back! (especially) after all that beef goes through your "system"!

          1. The Ramp in Burbank has one of, if not THE, best burgers in the city and it's a funky bar with a variety of beers on tap and in bottle. It's on Hollywood Way, just below Glenoaks, right next to the I-5 Southbound onramp (The Ramp - get it?) from Hollywood Way.
