Looking for Italian market/specialty store near Pasadena

I am looking for pickled Calabrese peppers and also some good imported meats. Any thoughts? I'm willing to travel, but would be thrilled to find something close to home.

Many thanks!

There's also the Italian Deli in Eagle Rock.

There's also a (smaller) Claro's in Arcadia, which may be easier for you. If you're closer to the Glendale side of Pasadena, Monte Carlo Deli in Burbank has the things you want, though I like Claro's better.

In Pasadena, there's Roma Market on Lake. It's a great little place, great Italian breads, olive oils, and probably the peppers and meats you're looking for -- sometimes their stock fluctuates though. Claro's is a bit farther, but more consistent in what they stock. Also an excellent recommendation.

I love Roma's. Especially since the guy behind the counter is like the Sicilan Nazi (a la Seinfeld).

            Second the recommendation for Claro's.

Another good place, especially for your cured meats (they might also have the peppers but I'd call and ask first) is Nicole's Gourmet in South Pasadena.

Try Claro's Market in San Gabriel (about 4 miles south of Pasadena)
