Need recommendation for nice place in Sonoma County

I need a recommendation for a nice place to get a gift cert in Sonoma County for a gift. Any place that is top notch and has a great wine list fits the bill.

I had a wonderful dinner at Zazu in Santa Rosa last week. The service and the owners are delightful. Wonderful atmosphere. Try the antipasto plate with the house-cured salumi.

We've been loving Willi's Wine Bar,

Located behind the Wells Fargo Center, on Old Redwood Highway(formally the Luther Burbank Center), River Road exit on Hwy 101. They've also opened Willi's Seafood Bar on the Healdsburg square. Their website highlights them both. Delicious foods, tapas style servings, which make venturing into the wine pairing all the more wonderful. You'll love it!

In Santa Rosa, Sassafras Restaurant and Monti's Rotisserie both have great food and nice wine lists. Their menus are on-line.

Ditto to both suggestions. Cyrus is fantastic, and whose EC was featured in the recent Food and Wine rising star chefs. Try a tasting menu, and let them design it by simply identifying those things you cannot eat. Nothing came to mind for me and the experience proved memorable.

La Haye came as a recommendation of a local winemaker and was everything he said it would be and then some. Very casual, with nice wine list and excellent seasonal offerings. Loved it!

The Girl and the Fig is another Sonoma (town centre) option. Nice Rhone-focused varietals on the wine list, tasting flights offered, and seasonal cuisine a specialty. It's one of my favourites for a quick bite or a leisurely meal in the garden. When figs are in season, the spinach (yes, spinach) salad is phenomenal.

And ditto on The Girl and the Fig.

How about the other one in Glen Elyn, the Girl and the Gaucho. Is that one good too? I've heard about it, never been. Not sure if it's still there even.

If I'm not mistaken, the G&G closed a while ago, and the owners opened the Fig Cafe and Fig Pantry on the square, to compliment th sit down restaurant.

Cyrus is definitely top notch - the cream of the crop. It's located in Healdsburg.
