Kori (TriBeCa)

parkslopemama Nov 30, 2006 02:09 PM

Some friends are going to a show at the Knitting Factory. Does anyone know if Kori is still open? I tried to call their number a couple of times, but got no answer.

If not, does anyone know a good place to eat in TriBeCa, fairly close to Leonard Street, which is not too expensive?? TIA.

I've passed by during lunch hours and they look open to me.

I'm pretty sure Kori is open. Our go to place for the Knitting Factory is Walker's on the corner of No. Moore St. Nice burger, good steak, very good fries. Another place that is a dependable, inexpensive choice is Delphi on the corner of W. Bwy and Reade St. I almost always enjoy the gyro there (aka souvlavki sandwich), but the grilled octopus on one visit was good.

Walker's is especially nice on Sunday nights when jazz guitarist Peter Leitch plays (I think he still has that gig).

Recently did the same. Kori before the Knitting Factory. It was open, and pretty good.
