I've been there a couple of times since they opened, the only thing I've tried yet was the cheeseburger, probably a pre-made patty but not bad. I asked for it medium rare and it was pretty close to it, with decent steak fries. A lot of people were eating pizza which looked good. I'll have to try more of the food but it seems like a good place to watch a game. There are two separate bars and about twenty tv's. Hopefully the rest of the menu is decent, as Lowell has a serious lack of good bar food downtown.

The pizza here is by Angelina's. They have a few other locations in Methuen and Haverhill I think. The plan is for them to open a store next door to Hookslide's and continue supplying the food. I hope they do because it is one of the top five pizzas I've ever had in my entire life. I can only imagine the rest of the menu is just as good.

Their Seafood is out of this world. I had the scallops and there were juicy and very flavorful.

          This place is the best!
I got a Bacon Cheeseburger that was so fresh and so good! The fries were hand cut too. My wife ordered the Chicken Tenders with the Sweet and Spicy sauce and they were amazing, not like those frozen chicken tenders you get at most bars. Nothing seemed frozen and everything was fresh. We ended up staying the whole night to check out the band and even had a couple late night pizza slices, which were excellent to. The service was good, the crowd was cool, the band was awesome. All in all it was an unexpected, but good experience. I would definitely recommend!
