need some advice for a restaurant, please...

hi! i would like to plan a special evening for my BF and want to take him out. He is currently working on his MBA and I thought it would be nice for him to take a break from his studying and relax with a great meal. He loves meat (steaks, prime rib) and raw fish (sashimi). We love to eat out and try different restaurants. So far, we have tried the following: Bobo's, Alexander's Steakhouse, House of Prime Rib, Town, Broadway Prime, Izzy's, Kaygetsu, Yuzu, Tsunami Sushi, Zushi Puzzle, Sushi Groove South, Blowfish Sushi, and Koo...just to name a few notables. I'm at a loss for a new place to treat him to, preferably a steakhouse (but am open to others worth trying) in the peninsula area. Any ideas or suggestions? Ideally, I would like to spend no more than $150 total. Thank you all in advance!

In SF, try Harris Steakhouse at Van Ness & Pacific. Great steak. Not cheap. Also Ruths Chris steakhouse on Van Ness and California. I haven't been there in years but I do remember a great Filet Mignon. Like butter.

Where on the Penninsula? San Mateo good? If so, Kingfish would work (depending upon wine). If you go, order your steak one degree less cooked than you actually want. (ie. order blue for rare, rare for medium-rare, medium rare for medium, etc)
