Good Chinese food near Georgetown?

looking for noteworthy Chinese food near Georgetown! would love recommendation for dishes, as well!

There is no good chinese food within three or four miles of Georgetown. Meiwah is ok for Americanized fare -- usually very fresh ingredients, anyway.

Avoid Little China Cafe and Bambu -- and certainly don't go out of your way for them.

I think you're thinking of Mr. Chen's Organic, which is on Connecticut. It's a good choice. Closer to Georgetown there are two places on MacArthur Blvd: Little China Cafe and Bambu. Little China has your standard Chinese take-out choices and is pretty cheap. Personally, I like Bambu, as they have more choices. They have Thai, Chinese and Japanese choices; the sushi is decent, but I usually get sesame chicken or pad see ew (which is not on the menu, but they will make if you ask).

I'll follow this post as I also suffer from lack of good chinese. We live in Glover Park.
Heard about someplace off of Connecticut, but it seemed pretty far to deliver. Can't recall name.... Mister something, maybe General something.... ?
