There was an article in the Toronto Star on November 25th about the recent opening of a restaurant called Sushi Train, located near Yonge and Bloor. It is one of the few restaurants in Toronto with the "conveyor belt sushi" concept. Looks interesting enough to try. Just wondering if anyone's heard anything or any reviews of this place?
It's fun to try once for the kitsch, but I wouldn't return there for the food. Bland, bland, bland.
Stay away!! With fond memories of lunches at Yo! Sushi in London (a UK chain that has the interesting food of Blowfish trolling through the restaurant on a "train" setup), we tried it. Never again. The food had been on the tracks so long, the fish had lost its glisten, so we stuck to a few cooked dishes and got out of there fast!
