Besides Roberto's, any good ideas for dinner on or near Arthur Avenue? are any reservations required?
if i get to Roberto's at 9 pm on a saturday, what should my wait time be?

      As we were already in the Bronx on Saturday night, we tried to go to Roberto's only to find it closed. So, we went to Dominick's instead because we were hungry! It's an experience, I'll say that -- no menu, no bill, cash only, communal tables. But the food was mediocre and I feel no need to go again. I know it's addressed on the Arthur Avenue thread, but I thought I'd put in my most recent .02 for what it's worth.

        Agreed that Dominick's is a trip, but the actual food is pretty mediocre. Pasquale's Rigoberto down the block is also an experience, with its own special old time family (in more ways than one) atmosphere. But IMO, though equally unsophisticated, the food is much tastier than at Dominick's
