I just returned from a business trip to Chicago. After eating at Lou Malnati's twice and a great little place called Ranalli's (in Lincoln Park on Clark), I have to ask the obvious; any good Deep Dish Pizza places in Marin? If not, how about SF?

Thanks,

Otter

For many years Gatsby's in Sausalito had great Chicago-style deep dish pizza. They closed and that was that. Except recently the current place started serving it again. I haven't been there yet for it. Check it out and let us know.

The deep-dish pizza at Little Star, on Divisadero in SF, has been discussed here many times. It is very, very good.

Just north of Marin, Old Chicago Pizza in downtown Petaluma has been tough to beat for decades.

          Thanks for the replies!

I didn't know about Gatsby's pizza being back. I used to go there when I was a kid many years ago!

Old Chicago in Petaluma is the BEST
