glazed devil's food donuts?

Anyone know of a Valley donut shop that has devil's food donuts that are glazed? Extra points for glazed devil's food old fashioned. Not looking for chocolate glaze, looking for your typical sugar glaze but on chocolate donuts. Thanks in advance!

  1. Dad's on Buena Vista and Victory in Burbank usually has them; you can also get them (dare I even say this?) at Krispy Kreme.

Hey Das Ubergeek, thank you. For some reason, I've never tried Dad's, but will. As for KrispyKreme, are there any left in the Valley?

There's one in Burbank, in the Empire Centre, and I think the one on Van Nuys and Sherman Way (outside the Albertson's) is still there, or...?

I don't really keep tabs on KK, actually.

Sadly, Das, that location has closed. We drove by a couple weeks ago, and wondered about it while noticing white paper over the windows. Stopped to read the sign, which said the location had closed and to visit the Burbank location.

I think this is the last KK in the SFV, can anyone confirm?

eh, no big loss on the Krispy Kreme front. They were never really my thing. The one thing I thought they did well was a seasonal donut, the keylime cheesecake. Good stuff.

I got to Dad's 20 minutes before they closed, and as I suspected, the shelves were bare. Perhaps I will head back some morning...

    2. I'm pretty certain you can get them at Blinkie's in Woodland Hills, but you could call first to confirm.

      1. There is a donut shop on Ventura & Beverly Glen, in the Verizon mall. Not sure if they have what you want, but their donuts are pretty good

It's K's Donuts, which is a chain. They're not bad at all, though I can't speak for their having the required doughnuts.
